The eyes are the mirror of the soul

What can we do with our eyes? Some people prefere them covered with make-up, others hide them underneath cool glasses. But what can we so with our eyes?
"Eye contact provides social information to the person you are listening to and talking to. Too much eye contact and you could be seen as aggressive, too little eye contact and you can be seen as having no interest in the person speaking. It is an often overlooked skill to have and an under utilised skill when communicating with people."

So don't stare at people for too long, only people who love eachother can stare in eachothers eyes. Otherwise it will get uncomfortable at some point.

In my opinion eyes are very important, I mean if a guy has nice eyes you can just keep on watching them. Yeah well at this point I think i need to use the tip of not looking for someone too long, maby this guy will think I want to attack him or something.

"Frequent blinking during conversation indicates high interest. Some women use a rapid flutter of their eyelashes to get a man's attention."

"A wink with the closed eye directed at a person implies a shared secret. When winking at an opposite sex stranger it implies you have undisclosed desire for them. "

So, what am I going to do next time I want to make contact? Well this:
watch-blink-blink-watch- look away- watch-blink-blink-watch-wink-blink-blink

No way, this guy will think there is something in my eye or something. Not good.
Anyway I think you should just watch someone in the eye when you talk, if you like that person you should look away and watch again. If you want to show respect you should watch someone in the eye but not for too long but keep on watching otherwise you look distracted. And well just do what you do automaticly I guess, I mean you are not paying attention when you are thinking how to watchi someone at the moemnt you are talking to that person. So just dont think and talk.

Cello

Ah, today I went to Amsterdam to the "cello biennale 2010".

Just one enourmous cello festival. I only went to see a masterclass of Giovanni Sollima, and well it was really impressive. Not only Giovanni but all the people who played!

I went to see Giovanni because he is the reason I am playing the cello. I once saw him on a Dutch program I normally never watch. And then I saw him playing and it was so beautifull, and since that moment I knew I wanted to play the cello as well.

I will show the piece I heard, maby it will inspire you as well!!

No I am still alive!

There will be a new blog soon.
Right now I am in the middle of a quite big and important test week, and I transformed into an enourmous nerd. Which means that im studying 24/7.

Just some study tips:
Take a lot of tea an chocolate milk, make sure you have neough food and well wear some comfy and wamr clothes. Or take a blanket and wrap it around you! Hmmmm
Well ok going to see if Newton has some new surprises for me, aurevoir!

Languages

These are some languages I would like to learn:

Dutch: kan ik al
Francais: j'ai Francais à école mais je crois que mon francais n'est pas parfait, et mon but est de parler francais couramment.
Español: Me gustaría hablar
Chinese: 中國是偉大的
Japanese: 日本人が優れている

Ok, well actually I can not speak chinese, spanish nor japanese. So I translated it, I think you should put it back in the translater to see what I said. And then the translater makes it even funnier, quite sure it will :)

I have always wanted to learn like a lot of languages, but i simply just havent found time to teach myself. Maby I ll learn some in my gap year next year!
Sorry for the few posts the past weeks, I have been very very very busy. And I will be the next two weeks.

Hot chocolate

There is a cold wind, and the air is still chilly. The leaves are falling of the trees, and it is time to wear your big scarf and your warm winter jacket. And your even doubting to wear gloves, then it is time for a big hot mug of hot chocolate. Ah, sometimes the only thing I really want is a warm mug in my hands and to nip from my tea or chocolatemilk. Hmm I love this winter atmosphere!!

So I would like to tell you what you can do with your hot chocolate to make it even better!!!





Here you can see the normal plane hot chocolate and one with whipe cream on it, hmmm






Then whe have the hot chocolate with some marshmallows on top, which is really nice and smuggy :)

ahhhhh i really feel like making some hot chocolate now, I can hear the rain ticking on the roof!

Some other things you can put in your hot chocolate:

- Smarties

- Pieces of real chocolate

- Some instant coffee

Enjoy the feeling of holding a warm cup of chocolate milk in your hands!!
